Taylor Swift at Lumen Field
If you watch my IG stories, you would know that I had been on the hunt for Eras tickets for Seattle for months!! I manifested hard everyday and finally my dreams came true 1 week before the concert!! I got a connection of a lifetime and was able to purchase floor tickets for myself plus my two best friends.
My commitment for this concert is like no other. The day before, I was actually in Calgary for a wedding so I had to last minute pay extra to change my flight from Calgary to get back to Vancouver Sunday morning to drive down to Seattle to make the concert. I legit almost missed my flight too due to a long security line but I made it!! My best friends picked me up at the airport and then we started our 3 hour road trip to Seattle. We got SO lucky with border as we only had to wait 5 minutes to get through. THANK YOU ERAS GODS!
Once we got through the border, we drove half way and then stopped in a Walmart parking lot to get ready lol. I didn’t take any behind the scenes photos of this as I was SO stressed. Once our glam was ready, we drove the last hour and made it to Seattle. We got changed in my car once we parked and then made our way to the concert with lots of time to spare!
Since I didn’t think I was going to the concert, when it came to my look and choosing an era I didn’t put much thought into it. I wanted to do something glittery and fun but due to how little of time I had with scoring last minute tickets and then also my Calgary trip, I decided I would shop my closet and order some accessories from Amazon to spice up my look. I own so much pink so I decided on Lover Era. In the end, I think I gave more Barbie than Lover but still loved how everything turned out! Shop my full look here!
The whole night was magical!! The overall vibes and crowd was nothing I’ve seen or experienced before! Ps thank you to my Team No Spill friends for coming up and chatting with us!! Seriously made my night meeting and trading bracelets with you!!
Our seats were so good!! Here’s a picture I took of the queen herself. I think this was the moment I started to cry. The adrenaline and thinking about how I was really there seeing my idol, brought me to tears. My first Taylor Swift concert!! I waited 17 years for this moment!
It was one of those nights that seriously can not have gone better. Everything worked out exactly the way it was suppose to. I can’t choose a highlight moment as every song and minute spent at this concert was a dream but I think hearing All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version) was definitely the peak moment for me, watch reel here to see me truly live out my dream!
